Group 1 – I will be dropping off a pre-printed cardboard telescope for you to make. You’ll need a semi decent glue. In my experience, a Pritt Stick is not strong enough, You need an all purpose liquid glue in a tube, like ‘UHU’ all purpose clear adhesive (or the ASDA/Tesco equivalent).
There is no need for Superglue, and you’ll find it difficult to make a telescope properly if you do use superglue, because it sets so quickly, and there’ll be no room for you to re-position the card precisely once you’ve applied the glue.
Plus, there’s always the risk you will glue your hand to the table.
Depending how old you are, a craft knife is generally better than scissors, but having said that, the kit requires you to ‘score’ along a line, so a really sharp craft knife will likely go straight through the card and ruin things.
