Meteorology 1

We’re at the hut this week studying Meteorology
The Task:
This week is focussed on building equipment for measuring the weather from everyday household items. You will also be getting your hand wet and coming up with a list of things to take on a walking expedition. The evening is a very ‘craft’ based type involving sticky tape and recyclable items.
Next Week
You need to take your equipment that you’ve made home, and use it to measure the weather for a week at least. Compare your results to the nearest local weather station results. Next week we’ll be looking at weather maps, talking about air masses and clouds, and giving a short weather report to your group.
