JOTA/JOTI

Scouts are invited to take part in JOTA / JOTI and make contact with other Scouts from all over the world!
The event will run from 10am to 11 pm on the Saturday and there will be a nominal fee of £5 for Scouts to book a 2 hour time slot – this is to cover the cost of internet access and materials. The slot may be extended if the Scout wishes, for no extra fee so long as the slot after their 2 hours are up have not been booked. Each slot will overlap by 1 hour so that existing Scout participants can show incoming Scouts what they have been doing and who they have been talking to. Included in the fee are light refreshments (juice & biscuits) a limited edition JOTA/JOTI badge for each participant.
We anticipate accommodating 130 Scouts over the course of the day.
We hope to have a radio station set up as well as the District iPads with Teamspeak and Minecraft and a few other activities too. If there is enough interest, we will look at running on the 21st October as well.
